At the gate of beautiful in the book of Acts 3, this lame man had no hope of walking again, he had resorted to begging because of course that was what most lame men did for living. But on this faithful day God brought Peter and John his way, and as usual he was asking for alms and was actually expecting to receive such. Peter recognized that he was much more than what he was asking and knew God had a greater plan for him, spoke to his life, not only that, gave him his hand to lean on so he could rise, held him up till he was able to stand on his own.
There are people that God will place in your life that will recognize that you are worth much more than alms. They will not look down on you but they will speak to your lives and give you their shoulders to lean on, they will give you the necessary help and assist you, they will hang in there with you, stay with you till you are able to rise up and stand on your own. They will not make you feel small or belittled because of your situation but they will let you know that YOU ARE WORTH MUCH MORE THAN WHAT TOU ARE ASKING FOR.
For some of us, we are too comfortable with ALMS, and for so long you have allowed people treat you like that. You have allowed your life to be a dumping ground by others. Stop settling for less, stop thinking that you do not deserve better. Stop writing yourself off.
You need to know that God can and will exceed your expectations!!!
HE ASKED FOR ALMS AND GOD HAVE HIM LEGS!!!
