Again I will share another revelation that got me very conscious of what my children do online.
A REVELATION!!
I was cooking and left my door slightly opened for fresh air, when I was done I proceeded to close the door. Right when I pushed to close, I saw a hand pushing back trying to gain entrance into our home. I was like “ boys come let’s push together, I don’t know who this person is.”. The struggle was so hard , in the process of pushing back and forth I began asking him some questions: who are you and what are you looking for?
He said ,” I got the address of your house through the online game your son plays. So I came.”
Obviously, the tone of his voice wasn’t anything like humans.
But to God be the glory, we received this great strength and we pushed so hard that the door closed. Later, we heard noises from outside, the demon possessed man was harassing people he met on his way. Especially young kids and women ( sexually).
Now this is two ways, the attack can be physical and spiritual. Children can get into maladaptive behaviours through online interactions. Children can also be attacked spiritually through online games. Demonic games are all over now that play with the minds of children.
Now it is very possible for your addresses to be located on online games, in fact Google Chrome automatically uses your camera on your laptop the moment you are on. I have heard stories of young girls being monitored and trailed through laptop cameras. Not only trailed to their homes but also raped and some killed.
How are you protecting your children online? How are you keeping an eye on who they have interaction with online?
Child pornography is at its highest now in the world, chat rooms just open up ( if you have no protection on your internet server) when kids are on the computer. Innocent children are being dragged into messes they never planned for and at the end it’s hard to get these kids rehabilitated.
Pls dear parents, pay great attention and you might want to discuss the ills of internet, games and social media with your children.
I remember my son had this game ( PS4) and they would have clans from different people. Friends and friends of friends. Of course I had to caution him and we were able to put an end to that . Does he still play games? Yes, but with a lot of caution.
Some of us , we don’t want to be disturbed so we allow our children to be on laptops and stuff throughout the day. Some of us too are so addicted to the internet and that is simply the example they see.
What happened to watching movies with the children?
What happened to playing some card or board games with your kids?
What happened to doing a sword draw or Bible challenge with your kids?
What happened to asking them what they read on the Bible and having a discussion on that as a family?
What happened to them learning the order of the books of the Bible?
What happened to Bible games?
Even going out? It doesn’t have to be big things but just getting them off the hook on computer will help develop their social lives and interaction with others around them.
What happened to going to the library?
What happened to reading books together?
As much as we are praying, Pls let us also watch. May the good Lord keep our precious seeds from the preying eyes of the evil one in Jesus name.
