I have a paper due later today and I have been confused and didn’t even know how and where to start from. I had searched the net for over a week and couldn’t get a single clue as to what is expected of me.
Yesterday night I was so frustrated I had gotten to my wits end. I had made up my mind that if I can’t get anything I was going to submit anything anyhow. But I decided to do one thing:
Turned on a message and I began to speak in the Holy Ghost just asking Him to lead me to resources to find what I need. I was in a sitting position till about 1:10 am. Left and laid down till 4am still no clue. Got up at 4am on a sitting position till day break , still no clue. But remember I had asked Him for help over the night.
During my break at work, I chose to revisit this topic again before I decide to do whatever comes to mind.
Just a single research/ source: everything I need just right before my face.
One lesson: The Holy Spirit will teach us all things if we can completely depend on Him for help.
Two:When we try to figure things out by ourselves, we waste time and we are delayed.
Three: if we do things our way, we are definitely going the wrong direction.
John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Job 32:8
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
So anytime you feel stuck and seem not to understand what to do, pls stop, take a break, and ask Him to lead you.
Again, in addition to the above , when life gets too overwhelming and you have tried all you can, explored all you can , and still nothing.
Learn to sit, relax and calm down because in quietness and confidence shall your strength be.
In quietness and in stillness you will know what God wants you to do.
May the Lord grant us rest on all sides as we put our confidence in Him.
Isaiah 30:15
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
Blessings and yippee I can write my paper now.
Humanity tend not to see the hand of God in our place of suffering .
We think suffering is always an attack from the devil. No, not at all.
We think suffering is not a place where children of God should be.
But whom amongst the patriarchs in the Bible that we study did not suffer?
We look at the our Father of Faith Abraham : childless for 85 years (yet he had the promise)
We look at Joseph , from dreams to pit, potiphar, prison
We look at Job who never sinned but lost all
We look at women who God withheld from childbearing ( Sarah, Hannah, Racheal, Rebecca, Elizabeth etc)
How about David, a man after God’s heart??
But one thing is common amongst all these people:
God was working out His divine plan in their pain and suffering.
May we not lose focus of God’s divine plan in our suffering
2 Corinthians 4:17
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
Blessings today.
