Sometimes in the month of November, a scenario of Manasseh and Ephraim was brought to my spirit and I heard the Lord say :
“ By choice, I chose Ephraim over Manasseh.
Gen 48
Now if we remember both are Joseph’s sons he bore in Egypt. When Jacob , his father was going to bless his grandsons, he crossed his hands and blessed Ephraim over Manasseh.
There is something called God’s crossed hand of blessings
God’s crossed hand of blessing is the hand of favor.
God’s crossed hand of blessing is the hand that chooses to give us what we don’t deserve
God’s crossed hand of blessing is the hand that doesn’t respect norm and customs. He bypasses the knowledge or the traditions of man.
God’s crossed hands of blessing switches position. Remember David was the last born in the physical but by choice, God’s choice to be king. With Jacob and Esau too.
God’s crossed hand of blessing gives us what we don’t qualify for.You see Ephraim was not in line to receive the blessing ( he was the second born and usually blessings were passed to the first).
I strongly believe that there is going to be a switching of positions for our favor in Jesus name.
What you thought you couldn’t achieve, the Lord will make it possible by His crossed hand of blessing.
Traditions, custom, wisdom and knowledge of man will always fail when God is involved. God’s crossed hand of blessings bypasses the counsel of man. There are many counsels in the heart of man but the counsel of the Lord will stand. : Psalm 19:21
I pray today that only the counsel of the Lord will stand in our lives in Jesus name.
My prayer today is that God who bypasses the wisdom of man,God who chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, God who works all things according to the counsel of His might, will today do much more in our lives in Jesus name.
There are times people think they deserve something more than you and God is saying : it’s not their decision, it’s not in their power, it’s not their prerogative to dictate to Him who gets what or who decides what.
So I want to encourage us all today:
It ain’t matter who thinks you don’t deserve something
It ain’t matter how much people judge you.
It ain’t matter how far wrong decisions have been made on your behalf.
It ain’t matter who thinks she is better than you.
It ain’t matter if you are not the choice of man.
It ain’t matter , it ain’t matter, it ain’t matter raised to the power of 1000. Let that sink into our hearts this morning. If someone needs to hear it again: it ain’t matter the opinions of others about you .
What matters most is pls seek to be in a position that you will be God’s choice..
Let your heart be to please God in all your ways because that is really what matters!!
I pray today that only the counsel of the Lord will stand in our lives in Jesus name.
My prayer for us all today is that our lives will so please God that He will look down upon us and overturn situations for us.
