It is possible to have favor with man and not with God. When we choose man over God then we make the word of God void ( which can never be void).
So sad, Saul chose the need of “ the people” over the voice of God. Isn’t it sad that God chose another king to rule over “ the people” that Saul that obeyed?
Listen, obedience to God is not negotiable. The people will leave you anytime but God is the sustainer and the keeper of whatever He has given you.
Do not seek to please man over God.
When a man’s ways pleases the Lord, He makes His enemies be at peace with him.
You shall obey him fully then will He bless you.
Obedience is no 1. Never choose any other voice or counsel over God. In all that you do, always seek to please the Lord.
Saul chose man over God and he lost the throne of Israel forever.
