We often expect God to give us the answers about our journey or to give us a complete direction of how our journey in life will be before we decide to take steps towards it. We often say we are waiting on God’s direction when all is required of us is to take that leap of faith and God will honour it. Often times God will tell us the end of the journey but He will not tell us the route we will use to get there. Infact many times they are journeys we often know nothing about and ways we have never walked. That is why He is God so that we can solely depend on Him all the way. Infact if He gives us all the details at once we will not have any communication with Him anymore since we know which way to go and how to get there anyway.
One thing we must do is to ensure that we are on the right path and God will take over from there.God has already sent His presence ahead of us.Vr 7
There are so many LESSONS we can learn from the narrative of this faithful servant of Abraham.

o ASSIGNMENT: SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION GOD HAS GIVEN EACH AND EVERYONE OF US
o UNDER THE THIGH: LORDSHIP/SUPERIORITY, MASTER-SERVANT, GOD-BELIEVERS
o SUBMISSION/FIDELITY/ALLEGIENCE: Took the oath Vr 9
o COMMITMENT: To his master, no questioning Vr 9
o DEVOTION: Vr 10a
o OBEDIENCE/ DELIGENCE/ FOCUS : He set to go : Vr 10b
o SECRECY: He confided in no one since he already knew what his master wanted him to do :Vr 10
o HE PRAYED: ABSOLUTE TRUST IN GOD Vr 12
o QUIETNESS/ OBSERVATION /HELD HIS PEACE: Vr 21
o WORSHIP: Vr 26
o CONFIRMATION: 27
o TESTIFY:
This servant did not have a perfect knowledge of how this will be but yet he still set out . Many times God’s answers does not come the way we want it. It might be as simple as “Racheal giving water to the camels”.
THIS IS THE SEASON OF THE DOERS, LET’S STOP WAITING FOR GOD TO GIVE US THE COMPLETE PICTURE OF EVERYTHING BEFORE WE STEP. LET US STEP OUT IN FAITH AND HE WILL BACK US UP. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED EVEN IF THE ROAD IS ROUGH, HANG IN THERE BECAUSE GOD WILL SHOW UP AS YOU ARE IN THE WAY VR 27
