My life is a bundle of testimonies and I can confidently encourage anyone who has had a detour in life. See, having a detour doesn’t mean that your life has ended ( although culture has a way of dictating that )!
My situation at some point in my life was so shaky to the point that I knew it would be hard for all those big and mighty REVELATIONS AND PROPHESIES that had gone ahead of my life to be fulfilled ( in my opinion). One day I cried so hard, I began to ask God questions:
Will you still use me Lord?
Will you replace me ?
Will I ever get to those places you promised Lord?
At that point, I just needed a word from my Father again!!
So I slept off while weeping!!
Then He came !!!
He said “ go to this place ( He gave the exact location of where to go) someone is there waiting to talk to you!! So I went to the address and by the time I got there , I saw this man outside waiting for me.
Then in tears I asked the man “ why am I having all these obstacles?”
His response was” why won’t you have obstacles when you are like Jonah when I sent him on his way to Nineveh.”
Right then I woke up and then the story continues….. and I began to rejoice because His thoughts towards me never changed, I just needed to rise up and get back on track!!!!
Then I knew that my Father still has me in mind, and He just wants me to rediscover myself ( truly at that time I was completely lost) .
Now to you who feels you have lost something!
To you, who feel your life is forgotten!!
To you, who feel you can never bounce back to life amidst your detour!
To you that culture has cheated severally!!
God hasn’t forgotten you, but He wants to remind you that His plans for you are still intact. Don’t get lost in the tears, wipe your tears away and know for sure that He still loves you!!!
Get yourself together and choose to get above and beyond culture!!
Now this is my testimony: He has loved me with an everlasting love and I am sure He loves you too , and yes, with an everlasting love.
So why bury yourself in your past?
Why cry to stupor when your Father is calling out to you to just draw nearer?
Why feeling rejected when you are loved beyond words can describe?
Get up, get set and bounce back!! YES YOU CAN BECAUSE I DID!!!
