Some years back when the ministry just began,
One day, one of our sisters said “ Pastor B, I had a dream this morning, you see I saw this very popular man of God whose ministry is worldwide come to meet us during fellowship, he walked up to me and said’ THIS WAS HOW WE STARTED.’
This was how we started to me means never be discouraged because the end of this work is great!
This was how we started to me means , hey do not look on how you are now!
This was how we started means! This work will go far and wide!
This was how we started means you are involved in an authentic work, continue!!
How excited I was, I was not the only one seeing the END but God was also confirming it.
The only person God needs to believe in that promise or covenant is YOU!!
Only God and you are in this. You need no other affirmation, acceptance of anyone but God!!
I want to encourage someone today :
So yesterday I heard my Father say:
“ By two immutable things, it is impossible for me to lie.”
Heb 6:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Immutable: unchanging, cannot fail because of His nature He never lies or breaks His promise
Two immutable things :God made a promise to Abraham (1) based on an oath (2) and these two, God said He will never change or go back on the promise and oath.
These are words of consolation and encouragement to us that God who promised and made an oath will never go back on His words.
What words of consolation again do we need?
Faithful is He who has promised who also will do it.
Has He said it, will He not do it?
Hope in the Lord!
Trust His word!!
I am encouraging us all today: hope in the Lord because NOT A JOT OF HIS WORD WILL GO UNFULFILLED.
Although your beginning may be small but your latter end will be greatly increased.
Do not despise the days of little beginnings!
Trust Him who has bid you come walk on the water with Him because for sure the end has been perfected.
Look not to the right or left but focus on Him who is the beginner and finisher of your faith!!
I have determined never ever to take His word for granted even if the circumstance surrounding me it doesn’t look like it.
I have resolved to trust His word even when the storms and winds are going in the opposite direction!!
Let someone determine today to trust God against all hope because God is too faithful to fail!!
